Use Your Imagination - Mud

Use Your Imagination
For the first time on CD, 7Ts are proud to bring you Mud, one of the most successful groups of the '70s, and their 1975 UK top 40 album, "Use your Imagination" - featuring the top 10 hits "L'L'Lucy" and "Show me you're Woman".

Having chalked up 11 U.K. Top 20 singles in just over two years there was no doubting that in the early part of the 70's there were very few more successful British groups than Mud. Mud even enjoyed success around the world especially in Germany where they enjoyed Top 10 chart success as well.

However, nearly all of their hits had been written by Nicky Chinn and Mike Chapman (also responsible for the likes of Suzi Quatro, Smokie and Sweet) and though Mud had written many of the B-sides, by mid '75 they felt confident enough in their own ability to 'go it alone' and so dispensed with the service of Chinn and Chapman.

Mud are still touring around the world and are well received wherever they play. The package is a typical 7T's production with extensive sleevenotes and rare photos, so a collectors dream!

Egg
This now legendary debut album by Egg featured the talents of Dave Stewart on Keyboards, Mont Campbell on Bass and Clive Brooks on Drums. Egg were associated with the so-called 'Canterbury' style of rock music pioneered by artists such as Caravan and Soft Machine. The trio produced music of startling originality and energy, drawing on influences ranging from rock to jazz to psychedelia to classical. This fusion resulted in one of the most enduring releases to appear on Decca's short lived Nova imprint and is now critically regarded as one of the more unique albums of the early 1970's. Re-mastered from the original tapes, the Esoteric Recordings reissue includes three bonus tracks, including both sides of the bands only single and 'Movement 3' from the albums notorious opus 'Symphony No. 2', now restored in its rightful place in this extended composition. FEATURING SEVEN PREVIOUSLY UNRELEASED RARE BONUS TRACKS
BOOKLET WITH FULLY RESTORED ARTWORK & ESSAY
Esoteric Recordings are pleased to announce a series of remastered and expanded reissues of the CLIMAX BLUES BAND catalogue, beginning with this newly expanded edition of the band’s debut album, issued originally in 1969. Formed in Stafford in 1968 by Colin Cooper, the band (originally known as the CLIMAX CHICAGO BLUES BAND) recorded their debut album in September & November 1968 with a line up of COLIN COOPER (Vocals, Harmonica), PETE HAYCOCK (Guitar, Slide Guitar, Vocals), ARTHUR WOOD (Keyboards), DEREK HOLT (Rhythm Guitar, Bass, Organ), RICHARD JONES (Bass) and GEORGE NEWSOME (Drums).
Produced by Chris Thomas and engineered by Jeff Jarratt and Geoff Emerick, the sessions produced more material than that which appeared on the original album. Seven extra tracks, recorded and mixed during these recording sessions appear as bonus tracks on this remastered reissue for the first time.
This Esoteric Recordings includes a lavishly illustrated booklet that fully restores the original album artwork and a new essay.
